The images and text presented here are from the book "Jazz Age Beauties: The Lost Collection of Ziegfeld Photographer Alfred Cheney Johnston" by Robert Hudovernik, my friend and mentor, used here with his kind permission. Set to an original vintage Broadway recording of "A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody" sung by John Steel in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1919. The only text I've added is costume info for Louise Brooks, Doris Eaton's birthday, and that Helen Brown became Helen Hayes. This video celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Ziegfeld Follies: 1907-2007.
